Important Announcement

From October 21th of this year, the Silvio Pettirossi International Airport is reopened, thus, for entry to Paraguayan territory, the prevention and care measures against the COVID-19 pandemic virus must meet as follows:  

1.     Complete the traveler's health card online 24 hrs. before the trip, entering the following link: http://www.vigisalud.gov.py/webdgvs/views/paginas/vista_viajeros_nor.html

2.     People who decide to keep isolation alone for 7 days must present their respective tests (RT-PCR) with a negative result at the time of check in or boarding (72 hours prior to the travel date).

3.     Foreigners without residence in the country must present international medical insurance (card or document that accredits), with complete health coverage that also includes attention to COVID-19 cases: PCR-RT test, laboratory studies, outpatient care, hospitalization , ICU.

4.     Communicate your flight itinerary to the Consular Office of this Diplomatic Representation via email, to process the entry to the CODENA (National Defense Council) if it is necessary.

For the issuance of non-resident visas (tourists and technicians), the invitees will need send the required documentation to the Direction of Passports and Consular Services 30 days in advance, for the purposes of their certification. (it does not apply to the Taiwanese citizens)  

Finally, applications for visas upon arrival that require authorization from the Vice Ministry of Administration and Technical Affairs, which has t received in accordance with the requirements, also 30 days before the date of travel.
